What are they doing?!
While everyone is busy improving their economy state, Malaysian's government is at the same time busy in some other issues.
Firstly, they have issued a rulling, called Fatwa, to ban yoga because of the fear that its hindu roots will corrupt Muslims. I don't see any interference between yoga and the religion. Yoga is always known as a good sport or exercise. Since when it connects to religion? It is a medication exercise. I have not seen anyome promote yoga through religion, but yet the Chairman of Malaysia's National Fatwa Council said that it could "destroy the faith of a Muslim". What the..?!
See BBC News.
OK fine. It is not legally binding. We say, let it go.
So now, how about awarding a Datukship to foreign celebrities? Malaysia is awarding the title of 'Datuk' to the famous Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan on 6 December, because he files the movie, One 2 Ka 4 in Malacca and he brings tourists to Malaysia. I honestly think he is a great actor, but what is his connection with Malaysia? I thought datukship is only for Malaysian who contribute to the country, who bring fame to the country. I didn't know it can be awarded to any foreigner too?! The only connection here is perhaps he is a Muslim. But.. but.. his wife is a Hindu. So, if Malaysia is concerned about hinduism corrupting the faith of their muslims, maybe they need to think twice about this too?

There isn't any improvement in the mentality of our leaders and we've given them enough time to prove to all nation that 'Malaysia bOleh'. At the end of the day, I think it's malaysia kurang upaya.
And they are telling us, if u don't like Malaysia, u can leave. Im telling them in my heart: those who left, are the smarter ones, are the wiser ones, that will bring up the country'. But half of the bread and butter is gone....left some crumbs. There, there u go..MAJULAH!! hahaha
Majulah Singapore, that's more like it huh.:P
I strongly disagree with the yoga banning for Muslims in malaysia man. It's such a disgrace. The whole world knows Malaysia, not for tourism, but for the shameful politicians we have.
I love my country, i still do but there are something in there that has hold me up from going back to work....:)
hehehhe
I love malaysia.......
How many people who use Yoga as an exercising and meditation tools really concern themselves with religious Hinduism?
