I read my friend, Peg's blog. I decided to do this too.
It is her birthday today. haha.. Although it is 'belated birthday' in Australia time, it is only 23.10 in England. Technically, it is still her birthday in England. I cheat I know. :P Anyway, Happy Belated Birthday, Peggy!

I can't imagine living in States or Atlantic. It is below 0 degree these few days. It is freezing. Manchester's snow doesn't settle most of the times. However, it settled til evening nowadays. I love snow, but only if I'm not working. This is because only then I can have a very nice cup of hot chocolate, standing in front of my window, looking at the beautiful scene outside. I hate it when I have to work, because it is freezing and it is difficult to even walk to the bus stop!
I don't have time to take much photos. But I managed to get three photos from my room this morning before work.
I hope that I don't have to work the next time it snows. So that I can at least take more photos!!!
It had been a while since I last update. In fact, it is now a new year. 2009. HAPPY 2009! I hope everyone have a wonderful new year.
Most common question nowadays, 'Any new year resolution?' haha.. I haven't figure out what my resolution is. I guess at the mean time, it is to find out what my resolution is. :P
Next question, 'How's your new year?' I celebrated mine with my colleagues. We had hotpot dinner, monopoly game, wii, some sparklers and most importantly, the countdown. Sounds not too bad huh?
Anyway,,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
While everyone is busy improving their economy state, Malaysian's government is at the same time busy in some other issues.
Firstly, they have issued a rulling, called Fatwa, to ban yoga because of the fear that its hindu roots will corrupt Muslims. I don't see any interference between yoga and the religion. Yoga is always known as a good sport or exercise. Since when it connects to religion? It is a medication exercise. I have not seen anyome promote yoga through religion, but yet the Chairman of Malaysia's National Fatwa Council said that it could "destroy the faith of a Muslim". What the..?!
See BBC News.
OK fine. It is not legally binding. We say, let it go.
So now, how about awarding a Datukship to foreign celebrities? Malaysia is awarding the title of 'Datuk' to the famous Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan on 6 December, because he files the movie, One 2 Ka 4 in Malacca and he brings tourists to Malaysia. I honestly think he is a great actor, but what is his connection with Malaysia? I thought datukship is only for Malaysian who contribute to the country, who bring fame to the country. I didn't know it can be awarded to any foreigner too?! The only connection here is perhaps he is a Muslim. But.. but.. his wife is a Hindu. So, if Malaysia is concerned about hinduism corrupting the faith of their muslims, maybe they need to think twice about this too?
I have been so lazy. Working is so tiring. I took a day off today because I wasn't feeling very well. It is definitely a right decision. I really need a break. I am currently 'working' at the organisation Monday to Thursday and then Saturday. Some days are paid, some days are not. Trust me, money is a good motivation sometimes.
Finally, today I feel slightly better. And I decided to cook myself something good. I bought seabass from fish market few days ago. So, I made myself some rice and steam the fish. I also make a dipping sauce. But I don't think I will make another one in anytime soon. It is such a hassle to cook a meal. I have to admit that it does feel good to have a good meal. It will be better if I have a company. :)
In order to be a more responsible person, may be I shall at least briefly mention what ingredients I used. There are vinegar, salt, water, sugar, rice wine, spring onion, soya sauce, ginger, garlic, onion and tomato. I fried the ginger, garlic and onion first. It takes quite a while to steam it. I think almost 25 minutes. The dipping sauce is basically almost the same ingredients without tomato, but added in chilli and sesame oil.
I am so bored yet so lazy. I don't feel like going out. I didn't step out from the house for three days. I don't really have anything to do, except laundry. I ended up drawing and colouring using crayon today. The drawing looks like a kid's drawing basically. The crayon is so hard to use. It is not even a proper crayon. It is more like crayon for kids. lol
Whatever, at least I found something to do. And, this is the result of the 'hard work'.

Linds brought me 4 tubes of ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls from Canada. They are very very very delicious! They are very easy to make too, as they are ready-to-bake. Unfortunately, they don't have it in England.
The cinnamon rolls' dough are ready made. It is very easy to bake them. I just have to lay them out on a greased tray and put them into oven.
I baked a big tube one. It comes with 5 cinnabon dough. A small tube cinnamon rolls come with 8 mini cinnabon. The big one needs 25 minutes in oven; while the small one only requires 8 minutes!!! Unfortunately, I burnt my cinnabon a bit on that day.
The package comes with a container of icing too. All one has to do after they are baked is to spread some of the icing on top of the cinnabon.
I forgot to take the photo from the beginning. So I took a photo of my last tube of cinnamon rolls. It is a package with 8 mini cinnabon.
